" Safari " - This word, coming from Ki-Swahili and meaning a journey or trip, is loaded with magic.

All safaris that Drumbeat Safaris conducts are so called "Mobile Safaris".

This means that during our trip our camp gets taken down and put up by our staff at a different location every second or third day.

The camp is moved by a truck ahead of us and will be up upon arrival at the new campsite. This maximises the time we can spend game driving.

For those looking for the ultimate safari experience, this activity should not be missed!

Travelling along one of the main tributaries that supply the Okavango Delta with its life source, the excursion allows guests the opportunity to explore the more remote areas of the Okavango system from the air.

Doors can be removed for unrestricted photographic opportunities.

· Meals

Our healthy meals are taken in our mess tent or in the open if the weather permits. Three-course, candlelight dinners under the stars are the best way to end an African day in the bush.

· Sleeping

In "classic" walk-in safari tents, 10 sqm, with en-suite bathroom facilities (luxury option) or in 3mx3m bow tents with outside bathroom facilities (comfortable option).
On beds with mattresses. All linen provided.
With electrical light, mosquitospray, soap, bodylotion and drinking water on bedside tables.

And yes, we do not have flush toilets, but showering under the African stars is unforgettable!

Another way of discovering beautiful Botswana is by doing a lodge drive-in safari.
Your private guide will drive you from lodge to lodge and will conduct all your gamedrives. He will stay with you during the entire trip and personal and detailed guiding will give you a very rewarding experience.
A library and fridge are standard on board. Price and routes on request.
