" Safari " - This word, coming from Ki-Swahili and meaning a journey or trip, is loaded with magic.

All safaris that Drumbeat Safaris conducts are so called "Mobile Safari".

This means that during our trip our camp gets taken down and put up by our staff at a different location every second or third day.

In the comfortable option, the camp is transported in a trailer behind the game drive vehicle and will be built once we arrive at the new campsite. In the luxury option, camp is moved by a truck ahead of us and will be up upon arrival at the new campsite. This maximises the time we can spend gamedriving.

· Moremi / Savuti / Chobe
10 days / 9 nights

Day 1. Arrival in Maun and transfer by road to the Xakanaxa area of Moremi Game Reserve.
Day 2. Morning and afternoon gamedrives in the Xakanaxa area on the fringes of the Okavango Delta
Day 3. Today we spend time on a boat. We will have a packed lunch with us and we travel from Xakanaxa to Kwai (Moremi) late in the afternoon.
Day 4. Morning and afternoon gamedrives along the Khwai river.
Day 5. Morning and afternoon gamedrives in Khwai.
Day 6. Travelling day with packed lunch to Savuti in the heart of Chobe National Park. Leisurely afternoon at an elephant watering hole.
Day 7. Visit to the dry Savuti Marsh and afternoon gamedrives in Savuti.
Day 8. Travelling day with packed lunch to the Chobe riverfront in the north of the Park.
Day 9. Morning and afternoon gamedrives along the Chobe river. This is prime elephant country.
Day 10. Morning gamedrive and transfer to the airport or connection to Livingstone or the Victoria Falls.

Private Mobile Safaris

These trips have been our speciality from the beginning.  Many groups consisting of family, friends and colleagues have experienced Botswana with us on a Private Mobile Safari and it is definitely the best way of enjoying Africa!

Lodge Drive-in Safaris

Another way of discovering beautiful Botswana is by doing a lodge drive-in safari.
Your private guide will drive you from lodge to lodge and will conduct all your gamedrives.  He will stay with you during the entire trip and personal and detailed guiding will give you a very rewarding experience.
A library and fridge are standard on board.  Price and routes on request.
