· A little background
Drumbeat Safaris was founded in 1996 by dutch Annelies Zonjee and Johan Knols.
After having studied tourism in the Netherlands and working as lodge-managers for a luxury lodge in the
Serengeti we decided start our own luxury mobile safari company.

Annelies is now mostly running the office in Maun and is responsible for the training of the kitchen and housekeeping staff.
Your safari chef has had an in-house training and will surprise you with delicious home made meals.
Johan leads and guides most of our safaris. As a professional guide he will lead you through the wilderness and show you all the beauty Botswana has to offer.
Besides Johan, Drumbeat Safaris also makes use of other knowledgable professional guides.

We believe that a safari should be a holiday. Besides useful information, you get ample time to relax, either in our private camp or in a luxury lodge.
Since most of our trips are private, you set the pace.
